Creating an outline that spans multiple books.

I've purchased the TNT guide for serials and watch or read advice on how to plot a serial, but I'd love something visual that shows how to structure and add new plots to an ongoing story. Most of the advice is "keep adding new plots and before they run their course, add new subplots."

Each book is set within the same world and may feature recurring characters, but it has a different main character (often with a different romance pairing in each book). Requested
